F@CELESS is a series investigating the idea of hunted identities existing only in digital environments: e-spaces. Created through digital transformation, these vanishing f@ces evoke a phenomenon of alienation in nowadays reality. Today’s world is embodied in virtuality and permits to hide behind virtual masks and to camouflage the real identities. Visible only in the universe of digital interfaces, F@celess are living anonymously in e-spaces hiding from a hyper-visibility and disappearing immediately when someone attempts to approach them too closely. Using augmented reality layer AR, it is possible to discover the identities of vanishing f@ces well hidden in the portraits but the question will still remain: who are they?

F@celess est une série des portraits explorant l'idée d'identités cachées n'existant que dans des environnements numériques: les e-spaces. Créés par transformation numérique, ces f@ces évoquent un phénomène d'aliénation de la réalité actuelle. Le monde d'aujourd'hui s'incarne dans la virtualité et permet de se cacher derrière des masques virtuels pour camoufler les identités réelles. Visibles uniquement dans l'univers des interfaces numériques, F@celess vivent anonymement dans une hyper-visibilité du monde virtuel et prétendent disparaître quand on tente de les approcher de trop près. En utilisant l’application de réalité augmentée, il sera possible de découvrir la f@ce caché derrière chaque portrait… mais la question se posera toujours: qui sont-ils?
