IN/FINITY investigates on how our relation to time can be extrapolated into a lighting object. Presented as a hybrid object, neither a lamp nor a clock, the aim of the project is to show the time ‘flowing’ in day length. The form reminiscent of a drop of water: like in slow motion of time. Prompting reflection on human behavior, the lighting explores time as a new conceptual dimension extended from instrumental framework of everyday life. That reveals new understandings about sensorial identity of time informed into material object. The intensity of light change is according to the key hours of the day acting as a transmutable sensorial indicator of the time and not hour. The stressful rhythm of life slows the motion. Currently under studies for realization as a part of the project entitled (Un)Necessary Objects, which questions the perception of nowadays technologically amplified environments.

IN/FINITY  enquête sur la manière dont notre rapport au temps peut être extrapolé en un objet d'éclairage. Présenté comme un objet hybride, ni  lampe, ni horloge, le but du projet est de faire ressentir le temps qui "coule". La forme rappelle une goutte d'eau en mouvement. Incitant la réflexion sur le comportement humain, l'éclairage explore le temps comme une nouvelle dimension conceptuelle étendue du cadre instrumental de la vie quotidienne. Dans ce sens, in/finity révèle de nouvelles connaissances sur l'identité sensorielle du temps sous forme d’un objet matérialisé. L'intensité de la lumière change  selon les heures clés de la journée. Fonctionnant comme un indicateur sensoriel, in/finity brille le plus tous les quatre heures, indiquant alors de ralentir le rythme stressant de la vie. Le projet actuellement en cours d'étude de réalisation fait partie d’une série d’objets intitulée (Un)Necessary objets qui questionnent la perception des environnements d'aujourd'hui amplifiés technologiquement.
